It’s time for a specialist Allied Health Professional Agreement

It’s time for a specialist Allied Health Professional Agreement

A specialist Enterprise Agreement can better address Allied Health Professional’s career structures, consider their clinical expertise and be more flexible to reflect current work practices.

The current Agreement covers dozens of generalist and administrative public sector occupations. Doctors and nurses have their own Agreement, so should Allied Health Professionals.

It’s time for a specialist AHP Agreement.

Why is this important?

South Australia is the only state without a specialist Enterprise Agreement for Allied Health Professionals.

Other health professionals, including Nurses, Midwives, and Salaried Medical Officers have their own EA - AHPs now want their own specialist EA to recognise and respect the specialist work they do in keeping South Australians in good health.
