Put transport into the fast lane.
I call on the major political parties to invest faster, safer and better passenger and freight transport networks across Australia, and to support, good secure jobs in the transport sector.
Why is this important?
Australian transport networks are slow, congested, expensive to use and falling apart. The skyrocketing cost of petrol is a burden on all Australians.
Investing in faster, safer and better transport networks, is good for jobs, good for productivity, and good for people.
Governments have been all talk and no action when it comes to fixing our transport problems – for both people and freight.
It’s time to get our transport networks into the fast lane.
