Pampas/Goodman Fielder: We want job security and fair wages for your workers now!Workers at Pampas have been languishing on labour-hire contracts, working full time, for 10, 15 and up to 20 years whilst being overlooked for permanent positions. Migrant workers like those at Pampas are the backbone of our food manufacturing industry. Workers across Australia are doing it tough, they need fair wages and secure jobs to survive. Pampas needs to come to the table and offer these workers a fair deal now.2,004 of 3,000 SignaturesCreated by United Workers Union

Make Wage Theft A Crime Across AustraliaEmployers in every industry commit wage theft. Whether it’s stolen super, unpaid hours, penalty rates or overtime, if you show up, they should pay up. Wage theft has become a business model – where the fines for stealing are less than the wages stolen! Without change to the law, employers will keep thieving over and over. Currently, workers only have protection in Queensland and Victoria. All Australian workers should be protected from thieving bosses.291 of 300 SignaturesCreated by United Workers Union

I will #BinBega until dairy workers get a fair deal! While Bega bosses cry poor and claim an increase in wages would be untenable, they are out lining the pockets of wealthy shareholders, increasing dividends to shareholders by 10 per cent last financial year. The CEO Paul van Heerwaarden’s salary saw an 18 per cent increase last year, despite not meeting his performance targets. Bega is not struggling. It recorded profits of well over $20 million last year even though it spent a lot of money on its continuing expansion. We are not only striking for workers at the Bega, we are fighting for the next generation and doing our bit to ensure workers in WA get a fair share of corporate profits.1,939 of 2,000 SignaturesCreated by Bega Workers

Directly employ Victorian school cleaners!School cleaners have done everything asked of them during the pandemic to keep schools clean and healthy. But under the current contracting system they are underpaid and undervalued. In order to keep schools clean and safe cleaners need: • more time to do the job • decent equipment to do the job • a job they can count on • respect and fair pay This is why they should be directly employed by the State Government. Our children deserve Victorian Government cleaners.2,086 of 3,000 SignaturesCreated by United Workers Union

General Mills: Your workers deserve secure work and fair pay!General Mills is one of the largest food manufacturing companies in the world and made more than $26 billion in 2019-2020. Workers at General Mills manufacturing site in Rooty Hill NSW have experienced rampant casualisation and low wage growth. Throughout 2020 and 2021, as essential workers, we worked extra-long hours to keep up with massive increases in demand during the pandemic. We thought this would mean that General Mills would listen to our demands: But we were wrong! Many of us have been at General Mills for more than 10 years and we’ve helped the company grow and become very profitable in Australia. Despite this, many of our casual labour hire co-workers have been in insecure work for more than five years and desperately want a good, permanent job!2,773 of 3,000 SignaturesCreated by General Mills NSW workers

Coles: End this cruel lock out and respect your long serving essential workers!About 2 years ago, workers at the Coles Smeaton Grange warehouse were told that their workplace would be shut down by 2023 to make room for automation. The news was devastating to workers & their families who are now unsure about what the future holds. This year, United Workers Union members have been negotiating a new collective agreement with Coles. Members are fighting for: - A fair redundancy package that will compensate them for many years of hard work & recognise the difficulty in finding new work due to the pandemic; - The right to transfer to the new automated Coles warehouse without loss of wages; - Job security for long term casual workers who will otherwise walk away with nothing. During the pandemic, Coles supermarket sales have soared by 6.9% & earnings have increased by 10.7%. On top of this, the Coles CEO Steven Cain’s remuneration package increased by 28.9% to more than $7 Million dollars in 2020! Now it's time for cashed up Coles to share their profits with the workers that created them!6,678 of 7,000 SignaturesCreated by United Workers Union

Restore cleaning hours at Bennett Road Public School and stop the cuts! The cleaners at Bennett Road Public School in Colyton have just had their hours cut. The NSW Government is putting the health and safety of children, teachers and other staff on the line by cutting cleaning hours. Before the pandemic, cleaners in NSW schools were already struggling to do the job well in the limited time they were given. Now in the middle of a pandemic they are slashing their cleaning time just to save a few bucks. Sign this petition calling for the Bennett Road school cleaners' hours to be restored and for further cuts to NSW cleaning hours to be ruled out entirely. No school deserves to have their cleaning hours cut.33 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Jessica Flood
