Billionaires out of Australian elections

Stop billionaires buying elections.

Clive Palmer is spreading lies on Facebook and plastering his ads over every billboard in the country. He does so with impunity, and with no regard for the collective good of Australians or the health of our democracy.

Reform the electoral act to prevent billionaires like Palmer from destroying Australia.

Why is this important?

Australians deserve to have confidence in our democracy. Government has the power to make decisions in our collective interest, and to build physical and social infrastructure that benefits us all. But when billionaires can use elections to spread lies and plant seeds of division in our community to protect their own power and influence, Australians lose trust in government and in each other.
