Monash University: Support Your Students!
As students, we seek a more flexible and empathetic approach to our education while the pandemic continues. Students need:
• Fails to be removed from academic transcripts, owing to the unprecedented situation we find outselves in
• Examity to be disendorsed by the university in light of serious privacy and accessibility concerns and a move away from exams to alternative assessment options
• Greater support for international students and exchange students.
•. Institute an opt-in pass/fail grading policy

Why is this important?
Monash University has not adequately supported students through the Covid-19 crisis. Communication of course changes come late if at all, learning formats are changed suddenly with little preparation, and overwhelmingly, there is a sense among students that the University is not prioritising them.
We deserve better. Mismanagement at this time has, and will continue to have, disastrous consequences for students at all stages of their courses.
