United Workers Union will lodge an application in the Federal Circuit Court following reports that workers have been targeted and denied shifts after taking strike action.
At a bargaining meeting on 14 May, PepsiCo management confirmed that employees who indicated their intention to take protected action were removed from the roster and marked as “not required”.
This, combined with reports of repeated questioning of workers about their plans to strike - sometimes multiple times per shift - raises serious concerns about intimidation and an attempt to create a climate of fear on the shop floor.

Hey @ramonlaguarta, @PepsiCo workers in South Australia are on strike for fair pay, and now you’re reportedly targeting them for taking protected industrial action. That’s not just wrong, it’s unlawful. #samejobsamepay #Doritos @SmithsChips
