We Need More Social Housing!
SAVE THE EXISTING STOCK OF SOCIAL HOUSING IN THE CITY OF PORT PHILLIP AND EXPAND IT.
We need to increase the number of spaces for people who just need a safe roof over their heads in the City of Port Phillip.
2018 analysis found 91 people sleeping rough in Port Phillip council area - up from 71 in the 2016 census. Social housing accommodation is dwindling.
This situation is unacceptable in a wealthy country such as Australia.

Everyone has the right to shelter. Whether people are struggling to find shelter each night or needing support, the government can do simple things to fix thr system.
