Solidarity with Bus Drivers on strike!
Quality bus services are essential. Victorians make 30million bus journeys a year, all depending on the bus drivers who carry us safely to our destinations.
We stand in solidarity with the striking bus drivers. Bus drivers don't want to be on strike - they have been forced to take this action by private bus companies refusing to negotiate fair cost-of-living pay rises with drivers.
Victoria's bus service should not be run just to provide profit to private equity firms! We stand with drivers in calling for a bus service operated in the interests of passengers - with good conditions for the drivers who get us from A to B.

Why is this important?
It is not reasonable for bus drivers' wages and living standards to continually go backwards. We the community send our support to the drivers - and we call on the service operators to meet the workers' wage demands.
