NSW YOUNG LABOR CALLS ON THE PREMIER TO STOP THE WAGE FREEZE ON YOUNG WORKERS
Young people across NSW have the most to lose from this pay cut.
This pay freeze is a slap in the face and a kick in the guts to every essential worker who has worked overtime during this pandemic to keep us all safe.
Freezing wages will only mean that a huge portion of NSW workers have less money to spend at a time when we need to stimulate the economy.
This means people are less able to support local businesses, and the hospitality and retail industries which employ a young, casual workforce are the ones that will suffer.
A wage freeze will only continue to freeze our economy.
