Hospo Workers Need Paid Vaccination LeaveHospitality is one of the most insecure industries in the country. The vast majority of us donтАЩt have access to paid sick leave and are among the lowest paid workers. We canтАЩt afford to take time off work to get vaccinated. Everyone should be safe at work, but without vaccinations we arenтАЩt safe. And without vaccination leave we canтАЩt protect ourselves and others. Without vaccinations we will catch the virus from our customers and pass it onto our workmates, our families and to other patrons. The Morrison government must immediately introduce a minimum of two days of paid vaccination leave for hospitality workers who want to get vaccinated. If any worker has a reaction to the vaccine and needs more time off they should be able to get it.3,176 of 4,000 SignaturesCreated by Hospo Voice Members

ItтАЩs about time to value school support staff!Every day, ES staff work to keep our schools running, support our students to learn, and our teachers to teach. Their work is diverse, complex, and vital, but it is undervalued. The salaries of Education Support workers in public schools do not match their contribution. Too many ES are considering leaving the profession and will continue to do so unless the Premier and Education Minister act now. ItтАЩs about time our ES staff were paid properly for the important work they do.8,969 of 9,000 SignaturesCreated by AEU Victoria

NSW: Strengthen the Lockdown, Increase Support Payments! The Covid-19 situation in NSW is extremely concerning. Once again, the failure to build proper, dedicated quarantine facilities has resulted in a serious local outbreak, this time of the incredibly contagious Delta strain. Vaccination rates remain woefully low. The NSW Government has acted far too slowly and half-heartedly in relation to the current outbreak. Nobody enjoys lockdowns, but the failure to enact a serious lockdown soon enough has let this outbreak grow, and now means that the lockdown must be extended and strengthened. Allowing the virus to spread would be a health disaster, not just for NSW but for all Australia.83 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Joshua Lees

FORCED REDUNDANCIES ARE NOT THE ANSWERтАв тАШSpill and fillтАЩ redundancy measures will only exacerbate the anxiety and stress experienced by staff. тАв The University has a responsibility to its staff and to do the right thing for them. тАв Redundancies may lead to important work being shifted onto remaining staff or outsourced to external agencies at a substantially higher cost than if performed by University staff. Your signature is important to demonstrate support for La Trobe staff and students and to ensure that the University uses our public resources to maintain high quality employment conditions, so that University staff can continue to deliver quality education and research across Victoria.1,224 of 2,000 SignaturesCreated by La Trobe NTEU

Stop the LANTITE: ItтАЩs holding our degrees!!Many people believe that these test results DO NOT represent our ability to teach, in education there are far more important factors to be an effective teacher such as behaviour management, relationship building, resilience, organisation, passion, judgments┬аand drive. There are also┬аflaws in this test. With the majority of questions being multiple choice it has been heard of that students will sit it for 30 minutes, guess the answers then receive their results to find that they have passed. Whereas students and myself who have achieved HDs in their assessments, and have passed exams, may fail this test. Therefore achieving nothing and leading to a low sense of worth!216 of 300 SignaturesCreated by Daniella M

End wage theft & human rights abuses on Australian farmsAll workers, regardless of where theyтАЩre from, deserve to earn a living wage and work in safe conditions. But the Migrant Workers Centre and Unions NSWтАЩs latest survey of more than 1300 backpackers reveals the majority of farm managers are engaging in rampant wage theft and outright abuse. Workers from 54 countries were surveyed about their rates of pay, entitlements and conditions. Key findings тЧП 78% of survey respondents reported being underpaid at some point. тЧП 80% were underpaid while on piece rates, and 61% were underpaid on hourly rates. тЧП Some piece-rate workers reported earning less than $1 an hour. тЧП Only 2% earned $26 or more an hour. тЧП The lowest daily wages were reported by piece-rate workers employed on grape and zucchini farms, earning an average $9 per day, followed by blueberry farm workers who averaged $10 per day.1,238 of 2,000 SignaturesCreated by Migrant Workers Centre

Award Mr Neale Daniher AO the Companion of the Order of Australia (AC)This is extremely important to all Australians as not only could Neale pass away at any moment but also because of the countless hours he puts into raising money, helping with research, hosting, organising and attending events as well as helping others despite raising over $50 million dollars for Motor Neurone Disease (MND) and suffering with it himself which is currently in the last and worse stage of the heart breaking condition not to mention the other stuff he has done outside of his campaigning and the football career he has had, therefore this man deserves no less than to be awarded the Companion of the order of Australia immediately.94 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Lord Braden Hyde

Protect the Collingwood Community Garden!Operating since 1979, the Collingwood Community Gardens are under threat of being bulldozed. The destruction of this important cultural and community space was announced by Collingwood ChildrenтАЩs Farm Committee of Management on Thursday, 3 June. Citing тАШsafety concernsтАЩ such as uneven ground, the use of removable metal cladding and тАШpiles of wood and sticksтАЩ as the catalyst, the Committee of Management made the determination to indefinitely close the Gardens, situated on Crown land, without community consultation. There is no evidence that alternatives to the bulldozing of this important community space were considered, even after multiple volunteers offered to fix the issues cited in the report. For generations families have nurtured this space, using it as a place to share knowledge, connect with the earth and build community. Many Plotters (a warm term used by those that tend to the gardens) rely on these gardens for their food production, social activities, exercise and mental health. There are multiple stories of migrant families that have kept their culture and knowledge alive through the activities at the Gardens.3,243 of 4,000 SignaturesCreated by Giles Fielke

General Mills: Your workers deserve secure work and fair pay!General Mills is one of the largest food manufacturing companies in the world and made more than $26 billion in 2019-2020. Workers at General Mills manufacturing site in Rooty Hill NSW have experienced rampant casualisation and low wage growth. Throughout 2020 and 2021, as essential workers, we worked extra-long hours to keep up with massive increases in demand during the pandemic. We thought this would mean that General Mills would listen to our demands: But we were wrong! Many of us have been at General Mills for more than 10 years and weтАЩve helped the company grow and become very profitable in Australia. Despite this, many of our casual labour hire co-workers have been in insecure work for more than five years and desperately want a good, permanent job!2,774 of 3,000 SignaturesCreated by General Mills NSW workers
